Aggiornamento Repository Medibuntu

Medibuntu (Multimedia, Entertainment & Distractions In Ubuntu) è un repository di pacchetti che non possono essere inclusi nella distribuzione Ubuntu per motivi legali. Per darvi un’ideadi cosa trovate dentro vi cito i w32codecs (i codec per win), Skype già impacchettato, oppure Google Earth.

Mi ero accorto tempo fa che i repository di medibuntu non rispondevano all’update del mio apt-get. Seguendo l’how-to del sito ufficiale medibuntu li ho aggiornati e ora questo non accade più. La procedura è elencata per alcune versioni di Ubuntu, delle quali troviamo ancora i repository mantenuti.

Ah vi consiglio di dare un’occhiata alla packages list dove potete trovare l’elenco completo del software che potete comodamente installare tramite apt-get.

Passiamo quindi con l’aggiunta dei repository nell /etc/apt/sources.list e a seconda della nostra distribuzione digitiamo

Ubuntu 6.06 “Dapper Drake”
